HENDERSON (October 3, 2022) – One of the biggest rivalries in all of sports will take the ice at The Dollar Loan Center on Thursday, December 15 at 7 p.m. PT as the United States and Canadian women’s national hockey teams face off in their Rivalry Series.
Tickets for the game will go on sale to the public on Friday, October 7 at 10 a.m. PT at AXS.com. Presale opportunities for select groups including USA Hockey members, Vegas Golden Knights and Henderson Silver Knights season-ticket members and Vegas and Henderson youth hockey families will begin Wednesday, October 5.
The U.S. or Canada has won every gold medal in the history of the IIHF Women’s World Championship and Olympic women’s hockey competition. The two countries have met in the gold medal game in 21 of 22 Women’s World Championships all-time and six of seven Olympics.
The Rivalry Series was introduced by USA Hockey and Hockey Canada in the 2018-19 season. Previous games have included stops at NHL arenas including Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Honda Center in Anaheim and Rogers Arena in Vancouver. The December 15 game is the fourth stop that has been announced for the 2022-23 schedule.
