The brackets for the Big West Basketball Championships have been set, determining what teams will take the court first in the inaugural event at The Dollar Loan Center.
Long Beach State enters the men’s tournament as the regular-season champion and No. 1 seed, while Hawaii is the No. 1 seed in the women’s bracket:
Four games are set for Tuesday, March 8, and the opening action at The Dollar Loan Center:
- 12 p.m. PT: Women’s – No. 8 CSUN vs. No. 9 CSU Bakersfield
- 2:30 p.m. PT: Women’s – No. 7 Cal State Fullerton vs. No. 10 Cal Poly
- 6 p.m. PT: Men’s – No. 8 CSUN vs. No. 9 CSU Bakersfield
- 8:30 p.m. PT: Men’s – No. 7 UC Davis vs. No. 10 Cal Poly
