In the countdown to the opening of The Dollar Loan Center, we will check in with various arena stakeholders to hear their three favorite features in the building. The Dollar Loan Center has no shortage of elements that make it unique – from the broadest ideas like its location to the smallest details like building signage.
When Tim Speltz joined the Vegas Golden Knights organization in August 2021, construction on The Dollar Loan Center was well underway – so the new Henderson Silver Knights general manager hasn’t had to wait too long to see the building come to fruition. Still, he is eagerly anticipating the opportunity for the Silver Knights to move into their new home, with the first game slated for April 2. Here are the three things he is most looking forward to.
1. A Place to Call Home
“The first thing that comes to mind is a true home arena for the Silver Knights players. Our players will be so proud to have an arena they can call their own. Our locker room facilities and amenities are world class and second to none in the American Hockey League.”
2. Home Means Henderson
“It is so meaningful that this organization can provide a world-class facility for our fans and the residents of Henderson. This building will only help grow our passionate fan base. I look forward to them supporting our team and all the other events at The Dollar Loan Center.”
3. The Atmosphere
“The Henderson Silver Knights game-night atmosphere will be fantastic. We will have a game-night presentation that will translate to a great home-ice advantage thanks to the energy that will be generated at The Dollar Loan Center.”
